Spiritual Mysteries Fellowship is a non-denominational bible study and a Christian fellowship that finds it most rewarding when discovering sound biblical precepts in sincere prayer and study. The apostle John taught that it is God that teaches us through the anointing of His Holy Spirit.(1 John 2:27) And what makes the bible real and applicable in today’s world, is taking what we've learned, and applying that in our own everyday living, realizing that God is truly manifesting His presence in us. And many times, that Spiritual understanding can be a big help in being there for others, as we're needed, for the trials and tribulations that can fall upon any of us.
The outlook for this fellowship is to share a sincere urgency with others, to become more Christ-like and to be a spiritual influence and encouragement to others. To inspire others to pick up the bible in sincere prayer, sincerely seeking what was the standard that was established by the early apostles for the church of Christ Jesus. Also, how is that standard being applied today in the lives of those that are living in Christ? What was the apostle’s view of the church and their worship before God? And are we today, truthfully in alignment with the example that the apostles established for the true church of Christ Jesus. The church that is established in Christ, as manifested in the homes that have submitted to God in all that they do.
One of the things that I am so thankful for, is that God gave us a mind to think with. He cares deeply the things we believe, the things we store in memory, the things that we allow to occupy our minds. Our opinions are a product of our free will, the free will to choose from right or wrong or to believe in things that are true vs. things that are not true. Because of this incredible mind that God has provided us with, He has given us something very special, His indwelling Holy Spirit, to the children of obedience, our avenue of communication with God, through Christ. A very special treasure, indeed!
Seeking and identifying your gift
I would like to share with anyone that might consider attending this fellowship, and that is, in the eyes of God, we are all equal, as brethren, in the brotherhood of Christ. The bible teaches us that each of us have been given a gift, as God wills, for as it is written: But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. 1 Cor 12:11 (NKJV) And the spiritual gifts of God are not all the same, everyone has been given something that is unique for them to bring to this fellowship as we together prepared to contribute to our own circle of influence.
Recognizing your calling of God
Therefore, for those that might feel an obligation before God or acknowledges a desire in their heart to be included in this small community of God, be most assured, we need you and we want you! Each of us have a circle of influence that's been divinely given and it’s my hope that this group could provide the support and comfort as we all grow in the knowledge of God, fulfilling God's will in each of our own lives.
Please know that you can take this verse personally: "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure". Philippians 2:13 (NKJV)
In other words, the apostle Paul is telling you and me that we, living in Christ, will personally know and understand just what the will of God is. We will recognize this in that, we will have both, the desire and the ability, to do His will. Many may think and claim they’re doing the will of God being involved in corporate church ministries, where the focus in on them and their performance, rather than the ones they claim to be serving. However, the test of time will always prove, what is of God and what is of man.
Romans 8:14 NKJV For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
We all have a divine responsibility before the world and it is to our shame if we hide our faith from the world. I believe we will be judged for not living our lives that does not inspire others, to spark interest in others to live their lives in Christ. Consider this verse, and as I see it, it is even more applicable today, for the deception is much worse today than it was in the days of the apostles.
1 Corinthians 15:33-34 NKJV Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” [34] Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
Plus I discern that if we live our lives, with a fear of not sharing with others, in fear of losing our friends, or even the fellowship of our family, whatever reason one might find in being silent, being cowardly does not have a good outcome, come Judgment Day. Please keep that in mind.
Revelation 21:7-8 NKJV He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. [8] But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
2 Timothy 2:7. Consider what I (we) say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
